
La Molina University
The origin of today Universidad Nacional Agraria goes back
to 1901. During the government of President Eduardo López
de Romaña the National School of Agriculture and Veterinary
was planned
and organized with the participation of a belgian mission
that arrived in Peru in July 1901, composed by the engineers
Jorge Vanderghem, Enrique Van Hoorde, Víctor Marie
y Juan Michel, as well as the veterinarian Médico Veterinario
Arturo Declerck.
The Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) is a leading
institution in the research of flora and fauna resources and
has one of the most important scientific databases in the
continent. It also has a wide staff of professionals, who
are internationally renowned and engaged in the research and
study of medicinal plants and botanic species with great economic
interest, among others.
UNALM owns the patented technology of gelatinization of it's
product Maca La Molina. Through this gelatinization process,
Maca La Molina improves the absorption rate in human, and
the incredibly concentrated raw material to maximize the strength
of our product.
Together, HERSIL Laboratorios Industriales Farmacéuticos
and the UNALM have over one hundred years of experience in
the research, development and marketing of natural products.
In this entrepreneurial effort, professionals from different
specialties are involved, offering to the market the most
serious supply of natural products from Peruvian medicinal
plants.
